 since
it was nearly 25 years ago that i created this monster, i can barely
remember where or when i did it - and more uncertain now is how ...or
even why... i did iti was amazed to find after all this time that there are user groups of 1802 'afficionados' around the world who still construct and experiment with this chip so, in the hope that my experiences
with the 1802 will encourage others - in the same way that an
introductory article to the Cosmac in an early issue of 'Personal Computer
World' encouraged me to design and create the HHC - i've tried to record some of
the details here for present day experimenters (the background image is an early draft of the cpu and memory circuitry) |
